The price was very fair for the location, under $100 after tax, and that’s part of NE where there aren’t many Wyndham or Hilton hotels, which are usually my preference. I didn’t come in with high expectations because there isn’t much competition, but the hotel turned out to be wonderful. The front desk staff were prompt, polite, and friendly, and found me a room close to where I parked. The building is well maintained, the hallways extremely clean, and my one-queen room was cozy and had all the space I needed. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, and the large wall-mounted flat-screen saved room that a TV table would have taken up. My room also had an iron and ironing board, all lights worked well, and, unusual for Super 8, the outlets had USB-A and USB-C ports as well as standard 110v. There are a few gaming machines if you’re into that, plus a nice-looking pool and a spa. I got in late, so I went to my room instead of swimming. I prefer a spa or hot tub to a pool, and that isn’t always an option at hotels. The laundry area was useful too, with change available, soap and softener for purchase, and a cart to take laundry to your room. I stay at a lot of hotels, and this was the first with a laundry cart. Being able to get change is rare too. I didn’t make it to breakfast, but I was told it’s grab and go, and it’s nice to have the option. I recommend giving this hotel a try if you’re in the area.

Be careful if you have a service dog. They say service dogs are welcome and there’s no charge, but they stereotyped my dog and tried to charge me $100, saying it had damaged the room and stained the bed. I’d dropped some salsa and tried to clean it up. My dog is a fully trained, registered service dog, and I never had a problem with them during an earlier stay or at any other motels. I’m reporting them to the Ada. Stop stereotyping service dogs and trying to get $100 from your guests.

I stay here a lot while working, and it’s a good place for the cost. The staff are great, and the hot tub and pool area are decent. Some rooms have been newly remodeled while others are old, so it depends which one you get. McDonald's and Casey's are a short walk away for food.

The spa was clean and hot, and we’ll stay here again on our next trip to the Niobrara. Staff were very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast was good, with sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, and other choices. We didn’t use the pool, but the water felt warm, unlike at many other places we’ve stayed where it was too cold to use. Overall, a good place to stay.

We had to run the continuous air to drown out noise from the room next door. The motel is very dated, with old furnishings, and our room wasn’t well serviced. There was no soap or hand lotion in the bathroom, the bedroom mirror was dirty, and one lamp had a burnt-out bulb. A coffee bag had been torn open but left as if it were new, and there was something in the trash bag.
