I won’t come back, and I’d tell others to stay away too. The shower was dirty and had hair in it. They also charge a $150 deposit and hold it for at least a week, while other hotels in the same price range charge $50 to $100 and return it the next day. When I brought this up with Ester, she was rude and laughed at me. That’s not the customer service I wanted.

EDIT after response: I deleted my platinum Expedia account and escalated the issue on Twitter so you wouldn’t get away with this. I’m going to mail a letter to Expedia headquarters in Seattle. That’s how much I hate your staff. We arrived at 6 PM with a reservation for a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strange, like too much cleaning product mixed with some kind of fragrance. We eventually realized it was perfume being used to cover up cigarette smoke. By 8 PM, my girlfriend’s asthma was causing her breathing problems. Her face was red, and she kept telling me she couldn’t breathe easily. Panicked, I went to the lobby to ask about moving rooms. They said rooms were available, but we’d have to pay again to switch. I called Expedia, and they contacted the hotel while I was still in the room. The hotel management told them we’d spent two hours there before reporting the problem, so they couldn’t move us. Expedia did nothing. The hotel had extra rooms but still chose to charge us. Worried something might happen to my girlfriend, I checked out at 9 PM, returned the keys, and drove to a nearby Marriott, where I paid $270 for the night. I’m angry with the motel management, and with Expedia too. They have no teeth and couldn’t help even when a guest who booked a non-smoking room was put in a smoking room. Expedia is useless, and I’m switching to another service.

They’re being crooked about room deposits. They take the cash, pocket it, and don’t record that you paid, then at checkout claim there was no deposit so they don’t have to return your money. I’m going to contact the corporate office tomorrow.

I love seeing an owner take pride in the business, and it really shows here. These are the cleanest, newest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The beds are comfortable, and the shower has great pressure and stays hot. There’s wood flooring instead of carpet, so there aren’t any nasty smells. The kitchenette was clean and stocked with everything needed to cook.
