Pikk's Inn

The tavern is lovely, and I’d happily eat there again. As for staying overnight, it was decent, but the price felt high for what the room offered. You probably wouldn’t spend much time in the room anyway, so maybe you’re paying for the location. Nothing was bad, but it didn’t feel like good value, and I don’t think I’d book here again.

I found the staff here really friendly, and they got me into a room right away and showed me where it was. That made the whole stay feel worth the $200 and change I paid after taxes through hotel.com. I’d first booked somewhere for around $100, but the room and the staff there were so bad I immediately asked for a refund. This place might seem pricey at first, but once you're here it feels like you got an amazing deal. I’ll definitely come back!

The tavern downstairs had top-notch food and service. The hotel itself felt like a nice change from the usual, with a pleasant room and friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Valparaiso.

The nachos and mini burgers were good. The prime rib was tender but had no taste, no seasoning, no flavor at all. The mac and cheese seemed microwaved, with a dry, hard top, and it was overpriced. I’ll eat somewhere else next time.
