Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Venice

Claire was so welcoming and did more than expected to make our morning go smoothly. Her helpfulness and follow-through really stood out. Eric handled breakfast wonderfully, staying attentive despite the heavy traffic and keeping the area clean, stocked, and welcoming. I haven’t seen a hotel breakfast put together that well in a while. Paul made our late-night check-in quick and easy, arranged extra blankets, and showed us where everything was and how to use the amenities. He was fast and efficient while still making sure we had what we needed. Paul, Claire, and Eric deserve recognition for the care they put into their work. They’re why we’ll come back and stay here.

The pool area was clean and had plenty of chairs and tables, and Claire at the front desk was wonderful and pleasant throughout our stay. The hotel was spotless, breakfast was delicious each morning, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special shout out to Gary, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. After the wedding, he let our group keep spending time together in the lobby, helped us get extra chairs, and never made us feel rushed or too loud. Those extra hours meant a lot to all of us. We were there April 30 - May 3 for one of our best friend’s daughter’s wedding. We loved seeing family and friends who traveled from Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, and California for the occasion. Thanks for making the weekend so enjoyable and memorable.

The staff were very accommodating, and Taurus, the manager, gave excellent customer service. He really tries to go above and beyond to make people’s stay pleasant. I gave the location four stars because it’s next to Starbucks and Venice is a great area with lots of amazing restaurants, though the hotel is right beside the interstate, which isn’t such a good spot. The pillows were good and the coffee was very fresh in the morning.

People are what make a hotel good, and the staff here were fantastic. Kelly, I think it was Joy, and another lovely woman at the front desk all made us feel welcome. The breakfast host did a marvelous job too, making everyone comfortable. Keep up the good work, and thanks, Craig.
