Travelers Beach Inn

The location is fantastic, with plenty of places to eat nearby and the pier very close. The room, though, was disgusting. I expected little since it was the cheapest place around, but it badly needs maintenance. The tub drained so poorly that shower water came up to my shins. Bathroom fixtures were peeling and gross. I saw no bugs, but there were careless maintenance issues, like nails sticking out of the walls. Why not just pull them out? Overall, pretty gross.

BEWARE. The rooms are infested with pests and bed bugs, and they don’t clean them. There was dust, grime, broken fixtures, and mold everywhere. I also read that they give your information to telemarketers and scammers. I didn’t check the reviews first, and they were all right. Sorry about the picture, but I feel people should see it, maybe it’ll scare you away. Dear God, don’t book this hotel. You’d be better off sleeping in your car.

The bathroom was disgusting, and I didn’t want to shower because the trim was rotting and clearly hadn’t been maintained. The bed felt like a rock, and we were afraid to use the linens. A lot of maintenance is needed in both the rooms and across the property. The front door was flimsy and rotting, and only one of its three locks worked.

Absolutely horrible, with bedbugs on the ground and no ventilation. The roaches were right at nightstand level, so close to your face. The staff were on the same level as the bedbugs. They need to shut this place down for a thorough fumigation, if not close it forever.
