There are plastic cups left all over the fitness center, which feels wasteful. Paper cups would be better, and guests and members need decent water options. They put out tap water and don’t refill it. At least add lemons to it, to kill the bacteria. The tower Fitness Center never has clean towels. Maybe someone should teach the younger staff to do laundry. It used to be done, and there were washcloths in the locker room. The locker room needs attention, it’s always a mess. I also wonder whether they even sanitize the steam room anymore.

The pool and hot tub were amazing, exactly what I needed. We also shopped at Polly cooper, a beautiful store, and ate at the emerald, where the food was very good. The front desk staff was helpful, gave me a map, and explained where everything was. I planned my birthday stay and was disappointed with the room. I wish I’d had options to pick one, and I asked the front desk about the 10% AARP discount shown in the app, but didn’t get it. I’ll return, though hopefully I can ask for a better room.

The shower was the best, with two heads directly above you. We were comped for a weekday room and upgraded to a suite on a high floor. The bed was comfortable, there was an extra blanket in the closet, and the hotel was quiet. Great views from the upper floors. This was one of many stays in the tower.

We’ve stayed here several times without any issues, and we’ll definitely be back. They surprised us with a sweet balloon and chocolates from Opal’s in the casino. We asked for a microwave, and it arrived within 15 minutes.

I booked a non smoking room because I don’t smoke, but they put us in a smoking room. It was gross, reeked of cigarettes, and just felt trashy. They wouldn’t move us to another room. Very disappointing and upsetting.
