The setting looked promising in the photos, with a pond view and a restaurant right beside the hotel. The location is great, but the place itself seems in rough shape. In my room, the toilet kept running, there was an old bandaid in the shower, and the lamp by the bed was broken. It could only be switched off by unplugging it, and the plug was left halfway in, which seemed like a serious fire risk.

There’s a lovely spot by the water behind the motel where you can sit and watch the sunset, and the lobby is a nice place to relax. The pool was heated and looked just like the picture, too. My mother and I came down from Tennessee last month for my Pappaw's funeral service and stayed two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was ready in the morning, and the 24hr Staff were helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Thanks for making a difficult trip feel comfortable. Five stars.

The room itself was nice, and breakfast was very good the first morning. The next day it wasn’t good. We were also told a rollaway bed would be free when we booked, then charged $25 when we asked for one. We chose this hotel mainly for the indoor pool and jacuzzi, but the pool was too cold to swim in and the jacuzzi was broken. An indoor pool should have a way to keep the water warm. The hotel needs updating, and guests should be able to use the pool and jacuzzi.

The free breakfast was better than I expected, and the shops are nearby. There’s also a great restaurant next door. My room was clean, and the lobby had a classy feel. It was so quiet, too. I really enjoyed staying here and would come back and recommend it.
