Wildflower Inn at Bell Rock

It’s in a great spot, just far enough from town without being too far away. The staff were awesome, and our room was clean, comfortable, and homey. We’ll definitely stay here whenever we come back. ❤️

The Wildflower Inn staff were a lifesaver on a really stressful travel day. I’d called and planned ahead for Monday, but airport and rental car mix-ups still cost me $300. When I finally got to the inn after lobby hours, they arranged for me to get into my room without trouble. It was perfect after all that: the fireplace was warm and comforting, and the bed was just what I needed. I’m so grateful to everyone there. God is good. This trip is personal because I’m spreading my brother’s ashes in Sedona, and I don’t travel much. The staff made my night and helped me relax. I have to check out tomorrow, but I’ll be back in the future. Now that I’ve had some experience traveling, I think it’ll go more smoothly next time, lol. So glad I booked here.

We chose this hotel for my husband’s birthday weekend in Sedona because of the jetted tub, but the tub looked disgusting when we arrived. Oil-like stains were caked on the bottom, and there was visible grime inside the jets. We raised it with the front desk, but the young man who came to the room dismissed us and insisted it was clean, calling it wear and tear. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn’t move to another room. The attitude we got throughout the stay was bad, and afterward we heard him mocking our concerns to another employee. They promised an immediate refund so we could find another room elsewhere, but it still hasn’t arrived. We had to drive home the same day. A really disappointing birthday trip.

The stay was a letdown for the price. The photos made the place look beautiful, but it felt dirty overall, and the only decent view was from a small upstairs outdoor area. The hot tub was an extra charge, and turning on the jets brought a strong sewage-like smell. The floors were filthy, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the bed sat on a metal box spring. Thin walls let loud violin music carry late into the night, making it hard to rest. We also paid for the “romance package,” which wasn’t worth the extra cost. It was just a bag with a very low-quality $7 bottle of wine and some rock candy. The stay didn’t meet expectations or justify the price.
