Every night there was loud talking right outside my room, and the office wouldn't say or do anything about it. I also found flies in the room and long black hairs on the couch, bed, and in the shower. My key stopped working several times, and the front desk staff were no help and seemed eager to be somewhere else. For what it costs, it's terrible value. If this were the last place available, you'd be better off sleeping in your car.

There were about ten roaches in the room within seconds of walking in. I went straight to the front desk, but they said they don't give refunds. While I was explaining that I wanted my money back, another woman came in with the same problem. Only then did he offer to return half.

The pool sign said it was under renovation, though there was no construction or sign that anyone had worked on it recently. The non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke, and people were loud at all hours. There was only one towel in the room; I asked the attendant for more but never heard back or saw him again. I waited an hour at the front desk, and he didn't return. Breakfast was minimal, just cereal. It's an okay place for a night, nothing special.

My husband is here for work, and we've had ongoing problems with the office worker. I love the housekeepers, but she is rude and unprofessional. Last week she charged me $50 for my dog, even though the dog was back home with me for those five days. It's $10 a day, and I have proof the dog wasn't here. The manager and the young woman both refused to refund me. I really think it's because I'm Black. We've had no complaints about us, and our room is always paid on time, but she treats us like we're nothing. I'm too far from home to be rude or cause a scene, and with my husband's job lasting about two years, I'm having second thoughts about staying here that long. There was another problem when my husband was at work. I said he'd pay when he got off at 6 p.m., but she locked me out and said I couldn't sit in the room. I couldn't check out when he came back because she'd already checked me out by locking me out. I sat outside until 2:50 p.m. before I finally spoke to the owner, who said I could go back in. She also lied to my husband, saying I'd told her we were returning Sunday. I never said that, and he was in the truck with me. They really don't communicate. For laundry, they have a washroom but won't give you quarters, and tell you to walk across the street to get change. Why don't they keep change for that? Half the TV channels work.
