We checked in, walked uphill to our tent because parking isn't anywhere near it, stayed about an hour, and left for Kanab. The tents were bunched close enough that we could hear the neighbors talking, and ours was stuffy with no airflow because a ridge blocked it. Their battery fans were worse than the ones we have at home. It faced reception, so there was no privacy or chance to stargaze, and food and snacks aren't allowed in the tents. The photos gave a very different impression. Between the noisy neighboring tent, not being able to sit on the deck under the stars, and the parking situation, it wasn't at all what we hoped for. We lost $400 for one night after tax and fees, which is way overpriced for this setup. I really wanted to love it, but didn't.

The restaurant was a standout: good food, served quickly. My tent was on the outskirts, so it felt almost like I had the place to myself. A heads up for summer, there were lots of kids, and I might have been the only party without one. My favorite thing, though, was the service. Gracie and Maddy, and Brie on my last morning, were wonderful and made me feel at home. I made some new friends this week. Thanks for everything!

We loved the tent, the views, the food, and the staff, and the setting is spectacular. This is a great glamping experience, though don't expect to use a hairdryer. The tent got chilly in the morning after the wood stove went out overnight, but the bed and blankets were really cozy. Feeling the cold air on my face when I woke up reminded me of camping as a kid, without all the hassles of actual camping. I hope we can come back soon.

The setting at Under Canvas is peaceful and surrounded by stunning nature and views. The tents have lovely design and decor, with thoughtful details that balance comfort and adventure. Manager Chris is what really made the stay, though. He was professional, friendly, and practical about fixing any problems. He took care of issues quickly and properly, without hassle, and made us feel heard and welcome. Without Chris it wouldn't have been the same experience. Definitely somewhere I'd return to.

We came back to this beautiful property for my 30th birthday, two years after a magical visit that we loved in large part because of the service at Under Canvas. This stay was the complete opposite. Most of the staff seemed unwilling to engage, unfriendly, and standoffish, and barely greeted us with a smile. As someone who works in hospitality, I was shocked. We checked out today and found an unexplained $600 charge on our card that wasn't disclosed or on our checkout bill. We've called several times and were told someone would get back to us when they had time. We won't be returning.
