Hilton Garden Inn Lancaster

It was a lovely stay, and the food was so good that we didn’t want to go anywhere else. This place isn’t the most budget-friendly option, but it was one of the few with a restaurant actually open and working. Shana was our waitress for all four days, and her friendliness, attention to detail, and humor made it such a sweet experience. The conditions were great and all the staff were exceptional. Thanks to everyone!

The location was awesome, and front desk staff across all three shifts were amazing. Our room was clean, and that much-needed shower had excellent pressure and very hot water, which I loved. The bed was hard and left me waking up with back pain, though. Breakfast wasn’t worth the $15 per person: the food was hard and nothing was hot. The young man preparing plates was personable, but the host and waitress were rude to him in front of guests. That felt very unprofessional.

Check-in and checkout were quick. Our spacious, quiet, clean room had a king bed and a second-floor courtyard view, though it looked quite outdated. There was no deposit safe in the room. Bottled water cost $3 each for guests without valued membership, but there’s a filtration fountain in the hallway by the cafeteria. We spent a while in the hot tub, but there were lots of dead skin flakes floating in it, so I can’t say it was clean enough.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. Our room showed a little wear, but there were no major issues, and the bedside table had several outlets that made it easy to charge all our devices. The adjoining rooms were noise-proof with the doors closed.
