The view was great, but the price wasn’t worth it, and the online pictures were very misleading. Our room smelled bad, one of the towels had hair on it, and the shower was dirty with a hair in there too. Breakfast wasn’t very good, and the pool was nasty, with bubbles in it. One day we found a bug in our luggage. The staff were okay, but this wasn’t a good stay for us.

Being right on the ocean was a great location, with a lovely view. The rooms were nice overall and cleaned well every day, and the service was good. There was breakfast downstairs each morning. The in-room kitchen was old, though it didn’t matter much since you don’t really use a kitchen at a hotel.

The location was great, parking was secure, and I had a nice room with a good view. I was there for one night on business, and the check-in clerk was very nice. Still, there were too many housekeeping issues. My coffee maker had old grounds in it and the pot was dirty. Two lamps had no bulbs, so the room was dim. I asked the desk if they could replace them, but maintenance had already left for the night and the clerk didn’t know where the bulbs were. She offered to move me, but I’d already settled in and was heading out for dinner, so I stayed in the dim room. The next morning I noticed black mold in the shower corners. Yuck. There were cobwebs on the hallway lights coming in from the garage, which wasn’t inviting. They also don’t acknowledge you as a gold member or do anything special, which would be a nice way to show appreciation when you’ve traveled a long way. I left feedback on the hotel website but never heard back, so they don’t seem interested in it. If they fix the cleaning issues and show gold members some appreciation, that would help.

The staff were very nice, especially Benjamin, and breakfast was good. The rooms were neat and clean, but the hotel could use some updating. The third-floor hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, apparently from people smoking by the parking lot door. The pool area was kept tidy apart from mold along the bottom of the glass enclosure. The patio beside the pool always smelled like smoke, with dirty ashtrays left out even though there was a cigarette disposal tube.
