Oceans 2700

For the price, I keep coming back. I've stayed several times, and you really can't beat the rate. The woman at the desk is kind, the TV works, and you can hook up a game system. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the boardwalk and beach aren't far. My only real gripe is that extra towels aren't always at the office, so I've had to track down the person doing laundry to ask for them.

Our toilet was clogged when we checked in. The front desk told me to come get a plunger and fix it myself, and said no other rooms were available, even though the rooms on both sides looked empty. He said he'd move us the next day, then claimed the toilet had been fixed, but it hadn't. The towels were dirty and the sheets stained, along with plenty of other problems. Bad service, a dirty room, and an average room at best. Don't stay here.

Rosie was a pleasure to deal with, very pleasant and hardworking. She deserves five stars, but I wouldn't stay at the hotel again. We were shown a room that smelled like urine, and I eventually moved to another hotel. The shower tiles were moldy, the bathroom exhaust fan had apparently been broken for a while, the pillows were dirty inside their cases, and the bedding had stains. There were dried spots under the sink that looked like blood, and the floors hadn't been mopped. They need someone who can really clean this place.

Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was very affordable. The bathroom was clean and comfortable too, I'd give it 4.9 out of 5, and the floors were surprisingly clean for that type of flooring. Rosie at the front desk made the stay especially good. She got me checked in quickly, answers the phone right away, handles questions, and works hard without complaining. Best hotel service I've had. Oceans 2700 should take care of her. She works too many hours and deserves time to sleep, a company vehicle, meals and gas covered, and a heated sweatshirt with the company logo so she doesn't freeze in that cold front office. They should make the office warmer, too, maybe with an electric fireplace, and make her place comfortable while she's there. She helps keep guests satisfied and brings in money.
