Holiday Inn Express & Suites Miami Intl Airport - 36th St

We had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant, though breakfast wasn't included. Some of the menu was a little confusing to us Midwesterners, but the food was excellent. The stir fry, Milanessa Napolotana fried steak and salad were awesome, and the wings were very good. The sweet chili sauce had a bit of heat and wasn't very sweet. Isabella was a wonderful waitress, and the restaurant offers hotel and military discounts. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. We hadn't realized there was an airport shuttle, and the shuttle to the boat harbor costs $15 per person.

We were right near the airport but never heard the planes, so the rooms seem to have good sound protection. The kitchen was clean and had some clean plates, utensils, cups, glasses, dishes, pots, and pans. The room itself was very clean and had no strange smells, with fresh sheets and a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean too, with plenty of fresh towels. The front desk and management were welcoming and professional, and management kept in good touch with me during our stay. Valet staff were great to talk with. There's also a small, clean gym. We stayed January 27-29 and had an excellent visit. It's a good location, and we're planning another Miami trip soon and will stay here again. I'd recommend the hotel and its staff to my family and friends.

Being across the street from the airport, beyond the wall, meant I could watch planes take off and land, which was a win for me. The room was roomy and laid out nicely. It even had a small stovetop for anyone who wants to cook.

I could walk to Popeye’s, Denny’s, a Taco shop, nail salon, cigar shop, and sandwich shop from here. The hotel also runs a cruise ship shuttle for a really good price, cheaper than a taxi or Uber. The place was spotless, and my room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the desk clerk explained the amenities. The hotel shuttle was excellent, and the driver was friendly and helpful. This is one of the best Candlewood Suites I've stayed at. Ten out of ten.
