At $130 for a night, this felt far too expensive for what you get, even though it was the best rate I could find nearby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the woman at reception was kind. It’s a newer, quaint place that mostly works as somewhere to sleep. I understand it’s set up for longer stays, but I was only there one night. The kitchenette came with an extra charge for utensils, which seemed strange. There was no breakfast, hair dryer, iron, or hallway ice machine. Ice trays were in the room, but I hadn’t expected to miss so many standard hotel things. The outlets were regular wall plugs, with no USB-C, surprising for a 2025 build. The windows had blackout curtains only, so there was no option for daylight and privacy at the same time. I also felt uneasy going into the parking lot alone after dark.

The one bright spot was the updated TV. Service was decent, but the place itself felt uncomfortable and bare, like a dorm room with cold laminate flooring and particle board furniture. There’s a tiny gym with only three machines, and you may have to wait. No pool, no breakfast, just vending machines. They seem happy to charge extra for every little thing. The kitchenette had only a cutting board. No forks, spoons, dishes, or pans. The metal chairs were flimsy, and the standalone closet took up space that could have made the room feel more comfortable. The bed frame seemed fragile, the mattress felt like rocks, and the bed was only about two feet off the floor. The toilet was so high it felt like climbing up to use it. I was disappointed and got the sense they care more about collecting money than looking after extended stay guests. The room had the feel of a sterile bedroom, not a hotel. I worried a small issue, like a dirty microwave or using too much toilet paper, could turn into a charge. Bring house shoes for the cold floor, and watch out for the bed frame when walking around. We’ll be withdrawing our corporate support. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so it may work if you know what sort of place you’re booking. I was surprised, though, since I’m used to other extended stay suites. There’s no pool or spa, no free breakfast, and the gym is pretty poor. They don’t regularly clean the rooms, and there’s no silverware, cookware, or extra appliances included. Apparently you can rent those at the desk. The rooms also had a strong new-paint or renovation smell that stuck around for my whole week. Decent enough with the right expectations, but it’s not a normal hotel stay.

Janet even found Christmas gifts for my kids, which completely surprised me. Everyone here helped my family feel at ease during a difficult transition and did what they could to brighten our days. I’m grateful my spouse sent us here. It gave us a good place to regroup over the holidays and get back on our feet. The whole staff has been wonderful: Adrian, Alfredo, Deb, Maria, Darla, Angelina, Natalie, Matt, Janet, and everyone else. They were attentive beyond what we’ve experienced at other places, and communication and prices have been great too. If I’ve missed a name, it’s unintentional. We have no complaints, and I’ll keep this as my go-to place.

The building is new, and it was clean, but there’s not much in the way of amenities: no pool, outdoor seating, or grill. The room had a stove and microwave, but no dishes, cookware, or utensils, and everything like that costs extra. They even tried to charge me for towels. There were people drinking and laughing in the parking lot at night. Still, it’s a decent hotel if you’re only staying a short time.
