Joan made us feel cared for, and the breakfasts were full of love. The fresh papaya and banana were delicious, and we really enjoyed the pancakes, waffles, and French toast. When she wished us a fun day, it felt sincere. We arrived much later than check-in time because of our own mistake, but after a quick call the key was left outside the door and the porch light was on. The house has lots to look around at, and although the furnishings may seem old-fashioned, they're comfortable. The bathroom could use a window or a demister since things barely dry in there, especially with the outdoor humidity. Thanks for the five days at your B&B 🐔

We arrived to find that our room had been given to other people, with no notice beforehand and no explanation or apology. We had nowhere to stay that night. It was a horrible experience, and I found the owner's handling of it irresponsible. I would never consider staying here again.

Jodie made us a lovely breakfast and was the sweetest. My husband and I spent the first part of our honeymoon here, and it was such a delight. The cozy, cute rooms are about a five-minute drive from the volcanoes. You're right in the rainforest, with peaceful sounds and no light pollution. I got two of the best nights of sleep I'd had in weeks. We'd absolutely stay again.

There are two private rooms here, each with an assigned parking spot. I stayed in the one at the back of the house, which felt cozy and brought to mind my grandma's place in rural Washington, except this one is in the jungle. Frogs sang us to sleep, and breakfast came with lovely fresh fruit. I had no idea how to eat papaya, but figured it out quickly. A unique stay with classic home vibes.

Jodie was so sweet and made us waffles and eggs for breakfast. The wooden building smells lovely, and the whole place is adorable. Even though it's about five minutes from the National Park, the streets around it feel like a prehistoric jungle.
