The room had plenty of space and was very clean, with everything I needed. I could walk to my event at the convention center and over to the Silos, which was a big plus. The A/C unit sat right by the bed and was loud enough to distract me. Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay, and I have no broader complaints about the hotel.

We were in town for a regional volleyball tournament and had a terrible weekend. The rooms are dated, and we could hear noise from nearby rooms and the floor above. Ours was near what the front desk assistant identified as a boiler. Every 5-10 minutes it made a deep rumble that nearly shook the room and made good sleep impossible. Staff knew what the noise was as soon as we gave them our room number, but the hotel was full and they couldn't move us. They offered no discount or other compensation. The assistant seemed unconcerned and said he lacked authority. Why rent out a room like that? I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We checked in late, but could still walk to several restaurants for dinner. The staff were pleasant and professional, and the location is great. The hotel is older and could use some attention, which seems common with the Marriott properties I've visited lately. Our room was okay, and it looked like they were trying to maintain it. The towels were badly stained, though, and the HVAC was loud. We managed to sleep once we'd adjusted to the noise.

Ricardo made the hotel feel like home. He greeted us with a smile, was so kind, and went out of his way to help and accommodate us. He has a warm heart and an incredible work ethic. On another stay, I lost my AirPods. He found them, kept them safe, and made sure they got back to me. His customer service is out of this world. Anyone would be lucky to have him on their team.

The people are nice and the service is great, but both the rooms and shared areas need a full update. Somebody, please fix this place up. It could be so much better.
