Paniolo Greens At Waikoloa

We were a family of five at Paniolo Greens Resort, and the unit gave everyone plenty of room and their own space. Three full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and balconies with lovely views made it easy to relax. We also appreciated being able to rent beach chairs and coolers, which made our beach outings simpler. The property feels a bit dated, and the A/C stopped working for a couple of days. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, though, and fixed the issue quickly. The location is quiet and remote but still convenient, about 10-15 minutes from the beach, with grocery stores, a gas station, and restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable and family-friendly, with excellent service. We’d consider staying again.

The pool area kept us busy, with giant chess, pool, ping pong, and putt-putt golf, plus a handy little store. The outdoor Connect Four game was broken, though, and should either be fixed or removed. We loved our stay. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the kitchen came stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. All the staff answered our questions and were excellent. Beautiful grounds and an easy check-in, with friendly people. It had pretty much everything we needed, though it’s a little outdated. Looks like renovations are being completed this year. The pool hours were very strictly enforced, and only one grill seemed to be working.

Our room faced the golfcourse rather than the street, so it was spacious and quiet. Shops and plenty of Restaurants are nearby, and walkable from a german point of view, though americans might call it 2min. by car. The nearest beach is 10min. by car, and Kailua-Kona is about 40min. away.
