We found the location convenient and parking was easy. My husband and I spent two nights at North Park Inn & Suites while elk hunting in North Park. Our room had a king bed, couch, and log furniture, and was clean, comfortable, and nicely equipped. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return.

The bathroom was a decent size and nice, but the rest of the room was cramped, with little space around the bed. A TV beside the bed blocked the only big window, and the channel selection was the worst I've seen. There was beat-up woodwork throughout. I hadn't requested a kitchenette, but was told that was the available room. Even though most rooms seemed empty, the handful of guests were placed beside each other, so I could hear TVs from nearby rooms. It was a very average motel stay at a much higher than average price. One night cost me $189, and it wasn't worth half that.

I was feeling unwell, so it helped that the staff let my boyfriend check us in and gave me the key, then brought lots of extra towels when we asked. We needed a room right away, and they got us one and let us check in at 8:30am, which surprised me. North Park Inn and Suites was a great find in this small town. The room was clean, neat, and quaint, with a bed, TV and better channel selection than most 5-star hotels, microwave, mini fridge, tub and shower, and cute wood furniture. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the hot tub felt great after a week of hunting. I'm thankful they could fit us in early. I have a cabin in Rand, but this will be my go-to in Walden when I need a place to stay.

The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed talking with the manager about Walden's history. My mother has some disabilities, and though we weren't in the handicap room, our room still worked for her. It was very well kept, with rustic furniture that suited the ranching community, and the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. My mother and I were both very pleased and will stay again. We also loved the River Rock Cafe' as a restaurant option.

The staff were especially professional and courteous, and whenever we needed extra towels or dishes, they brought them right away. We spent three nights at North Park Inn while visiting family and taking in the fall colors around the Walden/ North Park Area. The inn was close to full most nights, with weekend guests or a filming crew, but we enjoyed the whole stay. We'll know where to stay next time we're in Northern Colorado.
