We found this cabin quiet and easy to stay in, with parking right outside and a quick, hassle-free check-in. The staff were there to greet us, and there were no surprise fees. Inside, it was clean and well equipped, with comfortable bedding, heat, appliances, and a large bathroom with a tub. The price felt very reasonable, and there are good food options nearby. It’s a convenient stop in the Sierra between South Lake Tahoe and Mammoth Lakes if you want to catch some sleep and get back on the road without complications. We didn’t hear trains, trucks, or loud vehicles at all. A rare find, in my opinion. I’d come back and stay longer for a little staycation.

I wouldn't stay here again. The parking lot lights shone into the room because the curtains didn’t really block them, and the walls were paper thin. It also wasn’t especially clean, and the guy charged me too much when I arrived. I expected a good motel and found an ordinary one. The reviews seem fake to me, like they’re pushing the rating up. I’d rather sleep outside than return.

From the outside it looked great, but our room was filthy. The bathroom floor was awful, and a washcloth came away black after I wiped around the toilet. There were spider webs running from ceiling to floor in the gap behind the bathroom door. The window screens also needed attention. They should hire someone who knows how to clean a room if they want to keep the place in business.

After a long day of kayaking and hiking, this was just what we needed. It was cozy and quiet for a fair price, with a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and extra pillows provided.
