The place is run down, the heaters don't work, and it was much too loud, with guests yelling and running through the hall. When I brought the noise up at the front desk, they threatened to call the cops on me and said they'd already got our money, so we'd have to deal with it. Management was the most disrespectful I've ever dealt with. They also tried to swipe my card several times for no reason, so be careful. The pool isn't open 24 hours like the website says.
They charged us for a table that wasn't broken. When I called to ask about the charge, the front desk clerk said it had already been handled, wouldn't discuss it, and hung up on me. We're out the extra money, and the clerk acted like a narcissistic child who'd been called out. I'd give zero stars if I could.
I stay here pretty often, and the rooms are always clean, which I love. The free breakfast gets repetitive, with powdered scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, or sometimes sausage. You can get an omelette made fresh the way you like it, though. Great place, I enjoy staying there.
Walking downtown is the best part of the location, and the staff are pleasant. Rooms are just okay, but you get what you pay for. During peak tourist season this was the cheapest name brand hotel I could book. There's a pool and hot tub, plus a small gym and a decent breakfast. Housekeeping only comes in if you put out the special hanger. I usually stay at Marriott or Hilton, and this one works in a pinch. The generic replies to reviews make it seem like management isn't interested in improving things. It's looked the same since my first stay in 2022, with no investment in upgrades.
This hotel is absolutely filthy. There were crispy towels in the fridge when we arrived, and the floors, walls, and bedding were all dirty. I don't think they do housekeeping.
