After nine hours of driving, we were glad to find a clean, comfortable place to sleep before getting back on the road. It's an older hotel but well maintained, and it served our needs. I'd stay again. Breakfast was typical and more than enough: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cereals, pancakes, and yogurt. Our room was missing shampoo and had only one bar of soap, but we had brought our own.

Jennifer was really helpful and kind when I called, and Tamera made us feel welcome at check-in. The women at the front desk are so nice. Our room was clean and had what we needed to be comfortable. We'll definitely stop here again.

The tub hadn't been cleaned properly, the advertised in-room coffee maker was missing, and the bathroom fan was hanging on by one screw. The walls and ceilings looked like they hadn't been cleaned or dusted in decades. The place badly needs repairs and an upgrade. The Motel 6 down the road was a better, safer option. I won't stay here again.

We were stuck here at 2 a.m. because there were no other rooms available nearby, but I wish we had gone elsewhere. I found live bugs in the tub and black fuzz balls all over the sheets. The carpet looked unvacuumed, and the room didn't seem updated at all. Even the breakfast area was dirty, and the coffee was weak. I wanted to complain, but the front desk staff were busy and I just wanted to leave. This was the nastiest motel I've stayed in, and I would never recommend it. We paid $90. Knights Inn or Motel 6 would have been a better choice.

The employees and owners seemed to be trying their best to keep guests happy, despite limited money for upkeep. It was an affordable place with rooms available when we couldn't find vacancies elsewhere. We needed a quiet bed for the night after a long drive, and we weren't disturbed. The beds were old but worked well enough. There were some issues: housekeeping had left old food folded into the pull-out bed, so we had to call for clean sheets. The pool was green and had some kind of growth in it. Breakfast was actually pretty decent compared with nicer hotels we've stayed at, though the dining area badly needs renovation or at least a coat of paint. I feel a bit guilty being so candid because the staff were friendly and attentive, but the place is what you'd expect for the price. I gave it four stars because it was an appropriately priced place to sleep for the night.
