Travelodge by Wyndham Walterboro

Updated, clean rooms and a genuinely welcoming face at check-in won me over. New management has made this a warm, inviting oasis. I travel alone often, sometimes as a solo parent with kids, and this was a great find. I'll definitely come back.

The front desk staff were super nice, and the room was clean. Just what I needed for an affordable overnight stop on the way down I-95.

The bathrooms are being updated, and the work looks great for the price I paid. New management is friendly and welcoming, and you can see how hard they're working to improve this hotel. I stayed here recently and would recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, affordable place.

I was able to check in quickly because the woman at the desk came right out when I arrived, and she was very nice. She also came out when I locked myself out, which happened twice. I stayed two nights this past weekend with my dog, and it was very quiet. The lot was well lit, so I felt comfortable walking the dog late at night. The room was what I expected for the price, with cold AC and a comfortable King bed, though a few things around the room need attention. At $52 a night, especially while they're working on the place, I can't complain.
