Roseloe Motel

The place is a little dated, but I was impressed. The location and price are hard to beat, and my room was clean with a really comfortable bed.

I called ahead to let them know, out of courtesy, that I’d be bringing a service dog. The man who answered said there was a pet fee. When I explained again that it was a service dog, he replied, “my rates are my rates and I don’t change them”. I told him it was ILLEGAL to charge for a service dog, and he chuckled and said, “ma’am you don’t have to stay here, geez”. Rude and unprofessional, and again, ILLEGAL.

We paid 120 for one night on our way back from a mountain trip. At first the room looked nice and clean, so we were pleased. But it was 15F outside and the shower never got hot, so we skipped showering, which was a big letdown. The owner was kind when we called that evening, but couldn't fix it. That night, my friend and I were both bitten by what seemed like bed bugs. It wasn't too bad, but didn't help how we felt about the stay. Since then I haven't been able to reach them by phone, and eventually had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. I don't plan to return.

We were passing through on a long drive, soaked and covered in bug bites after working on the Jeep in the rain and trying not to get struck by lightning. It was past 10 pm and we needed a place for the night. Thank you for having a room available. It was very clean, and the shower pressure was easily the best we've ever had while traveling. We'd stayed in three different Hilton hotels days earlier, and the RoseLoe Motel beats them.
