Motel 6 Warminster, PA

A worker opened our room door and walked in, then went into the bathroom. Also, when we checked the fridge in Room 224, if I remember correctly, there was moldy ice inside. I didn’t know that was even possible. That’s my complaint. Thank you.

For all three nights, the building reeked of weed, even though the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking. The whole place seemed saturated, and the room responsible was just above the staff, so they can’t say they didn’t smell it. My room was damp with poor ventilation. I had to run both the AC fan and vent fan to keep it from getting completely humid and make the weed smell less intense. The windows don’t open, so I couldn’t air it out. The hotel was run down and just barely serviceable, though at least it’s near major roads. I wasn’t comfortable at all.

I stayed here on and off for a few months and spent far too much money for the way I was treated. Manager Sam was very unprofessional and treated me terribly. The rooms are run down and smell of cigarette smoke, even the non-smoking ones. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I’ve stayed here before and reserved a first-floor non-smoking room weeks ahead. When I arrived at 4 pm, they said the non-smoking room was upstairs and the first-floor option allowed smoking. I can’t use stairs and there’s no elevator, so I had to take the smoking room. My eyes burned and watered, and my sinuses filled up overnight. Going out for ice gave me a moment of fresh air, then I had to return to the smoke. I asked whether they had an ozone machine and looked into buying one locally, but none could be delivered before Tuesday, when I was leaving. I had no other option at the time, and the room was unacceptable. The motel allows indoor smoking despite the PA law forbidding it, so the least they could do is provide an ozone machine. They’re very inexpensive now. I’ll make other arrangements next time.
