Best Western Plus Executive Residency Rigby's Water World Hotel

After a very long flight from Europe, it was such a relief to be welcomed by friendly staff. I slept like a rock after a long, hot shower and a good shave! The stay was really enjoyable, and I'd highly recommend this hotel. Kudos to the staff.

We were traveling during a PCS move with two small children and a dog when we were put in Room 112. Soon after we arrived, we killed a cockroach on the wall by the headboard. Looking over the bed, we found cockroach droppings on the sheets near the pillows. Waste on the main sleeping surface is seriously concerning. Jennifer at the front desk was professional and moved us, but we didn't get settled in the new room until 9:30 PM. After a 12-hour travel day, that was an exhausting delay for the family. The manager, Mike Davis, wouldn't offer any money for the considerable inconvenience and offered only 5,000 rewards points. We also paid an extra $50 per night pet fee on top of the advertised rates. Moving us was the basic thing to do after finding an infestation, not a real fix. The high fees don't guarantee a sanitary room. Military families and people traveling with pets should avoid this hotel.

The good parts were the great walk-in shower, comfortable bed, and large bath towels. But we first stayed in September 2023 and liked everything enough to come back in October 2025. The difference was big. The cloth chair had a lot of stains, the clocks were wrong, the bathroom floor was dirty, and the shower had two bath gels but only one shampoo. I asked for conditioner, and housekeeping left it on the sink without replacing it. The front desk employee apologized and was upset when I told them where it had been left. The hot breakfast was boring and the same every day. For what I paid, I also didn't expect to make my own bed every day or have to ask for the trash to be emptied. I've visited my family for 25 years and always stayed at the Hampton Inn, but tried BW for the location. We used to enjoy the miniature golf and indoor bowling during visits. I doubt I'll come back. This is my first negative review, but I thought you should know.

We had a great girls' night out and loved the rooftop. The staff were amazing from the start. Jennifer checked us in, and Sasha welcomed us in the morning. I'll book here whenever I'm in town. Check out the Entertainment Complex while you're here, too. It's a one-stop shop!
