Candlewood Suites Warner Robins/Robins AFB by IHG

My husband and I came to town for a Masonic banquet, and this hotel was just around the corner from the venue. Shopping was only a block away, too. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. MS. CAT was friendly and quick when we checked out. The only thing we'd change is having a king-size bed. Otherwise, we had a great trip!

I've called Candlewood Suites Warner Robins AFB home for more than three years. It's the people who make it feel that way, including the kind General Manager, my “Unlikely Angel,” the Front Desk Manager, and the Support Staff I consider family: Brother Mike, Sister Caterina, Sister Shay, Sister Ebony, Brother Ben, and others. Their care for people with special needs like me makes this place an oasis. Brother Mike, thank you for looking after me when my glucose monitor woke me because my sugar was low and I couldn't think clearly. I called for paper products, and you kept asking whether I needed anything else. When I said chips might help bring my sugar back up, you kindly brought a bag of chips and orange juice. You arrived in five minutes, just as you'd said. Getting to hold Lucy was a treat, too, and very comforting. Please keep sharing your light and love here. I'm so blessed to call this place home.

Mike was working the front desk when five of us arrived extremely early in the morning. He was exceptional, pleasant, and easy to talk to. Later that day, another person at the counter asked my name because he thought I was someone waiting for mail. Mike explained I was a hotel guest and even knew my room number. Thanks for the hospitality and kindness, Mike. We need more people like you. The room worked fine for a short stay, the beds were just fine, and the hallway was quiet, clean, and uncluttered. The room itself was clean, though it showed some age. There was a stale smoke and mold smell, especially when the AC was on, so maybe it just needs cleaning. The location was great, with easy freeway access and McDonald's next door for a quick breakfast. I liked the hotel's coffee, too. This was my first time at Candlewood, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at another.

We'd stay here again. The third-floor room was spacious, clean, and very quiet, with a full-size fridge and freezer. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and the evening and morning front desk clerks were great. The pet fee was $25.
