Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Warner Robins

We’ve been here before, though it was a long time ago. Finding the place was hard because it sits behind other businesses. We passed it, drove about 2 miles farther, then had to turn back. The staff were very friendly, but we got going too late to have breakfast. Our room was at the end of the hall, and its door wasn’t fully shut or locked. I could push it open easily. The room also needed a serious refresh. The bed didn’t have the made-up look I’m used to, and the pillows seemed tossed on haphazardly.

When we arrived, the room was propped open and there were empty alcohol bottles in the closet. The Cheetos in the air conditioning unit were another unpleasant surprise. The bedroom air conditioning didn’t work, either. I wasn’t impressed.

The hotel and rooms were very clean, breakfast had lots of choices, and the front desk agents gave outstanding customer service. I’d recommend it 👍👍

The room and staff were quite good during my stay last week, but I was charged twice. I booked through a third party and paid for Friday, before my Tuesday check-in, then the stay was charged again to my personal card. The hotel had plenty of time to catch the mistake or avoid making it. It’s been 11 days, and after going back and forth with both corporate and the location, I still have no refund or real recourse beyond “sorry for the mistake.” We’ll be taking our business away from Marriott and its subsidiaries.
