Cramers Point Motel & Cottages

We only stayed one night, but had a good time and would come back. The room was old but very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the accommodations were great for the price. The pool was clean and heated, and there were outdoor games to play. The shower might be a challenge if you're a large person.

Todd met us when we arrived to make sure our accommodations were just right, a really thoughtful touch. We had a wonderful time at Cramer’s Point Lake Breeze. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Lake access was excellent, just a short walk down the hill, though the walk back up gets your heart pumping. The fishing was spot on, a great bonus to the trip. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

There were a few minor issues with the rental, and they took care of most of them pretty quickly. The reservation also got snafoos. I called earlier in the year to choose an option for our down payment and gave my credit card details, but the payment was never taken. When it was time to settle up, I had to pay both our share of the down payment and the final payment together, which I hadn't expected and threw off our finances. There was also an issue with the taxes. I would love to give the place five stars, but I have to be honest. I doubt many people will run into the same problem, but it wouldn't feel right to leave it out.

The heated pool is where most people seem to spend their time, and the rooms are exquisite. The lake is nice, though the hilly walk makes it hard to get to, and the playground has a nostalgic feel. It's close to the village, so getting there is easy. I've been coming for 10+ years and never stopped, though I haven't been since 2021. We're looking forward to seeing how the place has improved and hope to visit soon!
