Extended Stay America Providence Warwick

Friendly staff, quiet surroundings, and a great location made this a top notch stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the vending and laundry machines were full and working. Worth every penny, highly recommend.

I’m calling the cops now. I came back exhausted from a long trip and was asleep when the hotel manager banged on my door, yelling that I had to leave the room for 15 minutes so he could clean it. I politely asked if it could wait until tomorrow because I’d just arrived and needed sleep. I was on my fourth day of an eight day stay. I offered to check out right then if they refunded the remaining nights, but he refused and said I had to pack up and leave. They first claimed breakfast was included, but what they served each morning was an old muffin and watery coffee. There were also a lot of people living at the hotel who seemed strange to me. I can’t recommend this hotel at all.

I’ve stayed here three times for work, usually for 2-3 months at a time. The location is great, and there are new TVs and bed frames and mattresses, with upgraded door keys coming soon. But this time I found an empty candy wrapper on the bed and the recliner footrest left up, two desks with two chairs, and a bedside table missing. The toilet seat had crap on it, and the kitchen sink is clogged again in the same room, just like last year. On-site laundry is one of the perks of a long stay, but it isn’t working, so I’m heading to a laundromat. For security, rocks are holding the side and back doors open overnight. I’m glad I’m not paying for this.

We needed somewhere fully wheelchair accessible for several weeks while our apartment was being modified after my spouse’s fall, emergency surgery, and rehab. The room worked so well that we could do therapy there throughout the stay. My spouse arrived in a wheelchair and left with a walker to move back into our adapted apartment. The front desk team was a wonderful, gracious group of people.
