The clerk at check-in seemed nice enough, but the room was awful. The beds were clean, yet the walls were dirty, there was mold in the shower, and everything else needed a thorough cleaning. We killed a few roaches during the night and couldn't wait to leave.

The bathroom looked remodeled and was clean, and the outside, lobby, and front desk area were nicely decorated. For the price, it was better than I expected. I got the last smoking room available, though even for me the smoke smell was strong. The rest of the room wasn't as clean: dusty floors, a small stain on a pillow, and a fridge that needed attention. There are some easy fixes that could make this a wonderful place. The panel below the sink was coming loose on one side, and the bathroom door scraped the floor when I shut it. Laundry was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry, upstairs from the ice and vending area at the back. Not sure if every room is the same, but this one was much better than Red Roof and about on par with Super 8.

The staff were wonderful and quick to fix things, but there were too many problems. The air conditioning was off, and it took four hours to cool the room. There was only one overhead light, so my wife had to find the plugs and connect the table lamps. A big piece was missing from the table, and there was no bath mat, toilet paper, or holder for it. The TV was set to the wrong input, and there was no remote, so someone had to come fix it. We also weren't told where the ice machine was. It was downstairs around the back. We only stayed because everywhere else was full. If you can, skip this place.

I expected very little and was still let down. The towels and sheets were dirty, every surface was filthy, and there was something that looked a lot like urine in front of the toilet. I've stayed in some real dumps and I'm not fussy, but this place was disgusting on another level. With the crowd hanging around, I kept my gun close. At any price, I'd run from this place.
