Coda on Half, a Placemakr Experience - Navy Yard

No complaints at all. The apartment was clean and in good condition, and the amenities and check-in were great. There’s also a 24/7 gym and a relaxing rooftop. I didn’t really use the rooftop in January, but it must be a great spot during other seasons. A special thanks to Michael at the front desk. My phone got badly damaged during the trip and stopped working, and he was very helpful. I could count on him for assistance.

We spent a month at Coda on half and loved the room, especially its beautiful look and city view. The location made it easy to get to Nationals park, walk by the water, and reach lots of restaurants. We also spent many hours on the rooftop working or simply taking in the view. Mickey at the front desk made the experience even better. He was warm and kind from the day we arrived, always greeting us with a smile and a cheer. He was helpful, accommodating, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. A 10/10 stay, and I can’t wait to return.

I’ve lived at Coda on Half for two years and feel safe here. The building is very clean, and the decor throughout the complex is beautiful. Whenever I’ve had a concern, it’s been dealt with right away. I moved here from another state, and the whole staff made me feel welcome from the start. It feels like family, and I’m glad I chose this place.

The room itself was in good shape, but there were coffee rings on the table when we arrived, and we had to wipe them off ourselves. We were there for a week and a half, and the hotel barely supplied anything, just enough for one person for about two days. We asked the desk for toilet paper and were told they were out. When we asked again the following day, reception said we should buy our own. They also left just one laundry pod for two people. So don’t expect especially friendly or helpful service. Still, I’d stay again for the location. It’s in a fantastic spot near markets and the train, with a direct, easy 20-minute walk to the National Mall.
