The staff are kind and work hard, but the Marriott Bonvoy app keeps setting them up to fail. Nine times out of ten, something goes wrong when we book through it. Tonight we arrived expecting the king bedroom suite we’d booked and paid for, and were asked if we’d accept a two-queen bedroom instead. We definitely wouldn’t, so they put us in a handicap suite. We’ve had much better luck with third-party apps, and there’s no loyalty in this. The hotel Wi-Fi doesn’t work either. When I called the front desk, they said they didn’t know why.

We’ve stayed here many times and came back for a couple of days away in our own town. I enjoyed the pool, and we got dinner from the bar to eat in our room. The room was nice and big, and clean enough. We needed a handicapped room, number 135, since my husband is having hip surgery in five days. The shower worked great for us. The bed was so low to the ground, with no box springs, and really uncomfortable. We both ended up with backaches. I’ll come back, but not to room 135.

We brought our dog and picked the room by the back door. That door can slam loudly, but the hotel was barely occupied, so it hardly affected us. The dog area was clean and decent, though it could use better lighting. Everything in the room was updated, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay, with a decent range of choices.

A clean, modern Fairfield with large suites, really comfortable beds, and soft sheets. Breakfast was great, too. It had everything we needed for a top-tier stay.

This is my usual hotel when I visit family nearby. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Having a bar in the lobby makes the place feel welcoming, and it’s a nice spot to sit and unwind before heading up to the room.
