Fully Furnished 2 Bedroom Apartment in Washington DC 2 Apts by RedAwning

I spent almost three weeks here in a one-bedroom apartment on an extended business trip to the District. The place was spacious yet cozy, and the apartment itself felt first-rate. Its location was excellent for getting around the District and close to federal facilities, monuments, and museums. It had everything I needed to feel at home: an up-to-date, fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed, extra linens, towels and washcloths, and remarkable closet space. The washer and dryer seemed like new. The TV had cable and streaming apps, including Netflix, which you could access with your own account. Free coffee and hot drinks at both entrances were especially welcome on chilly days. Key fobs controlled the doors and were needed for the elevators, and staffed reception desks were at the entrances except perhaps for a few late night hours. That setup felt reassuring without making access difficult. There were plenty of elevators. They had some issues on my first day, but worked without a hitch after that, and I never waited more than a few seconds. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend it for a longer stay in DC if you want the comforts of home.

The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful, and there are tons of good restaurants just a couple of blocks away, so the hard part is choosing one. Most tourist spots, including the White House, Capitol, memorials, and Smithsonian museums, are within walking distance. The building also has a state of art gym, indoor pool, and sauna, though we didn’t get the chance to use them. This is a wonderful place!

Pelican Residences in the Lansburgh was an ideal base for my visit back to Penn Quarter after moving away. I’d been looking to stay in the area where I used to live. My corner unit had a great view down 7th and E streets, and Gregory’s coffee, my favorite restaurants, the Smithsonian museums, National Mall, Capitol, and White House were all within walking distance. The furnished two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was clean, and Pelican staff were very responsive, even replacing light bulbs. Would I stay again? Yes!

The host was quick to respond and very attentive. After I’d checked in, I asked to add one more night, and they arranged it right away. The place was quiet and clean, with plenty of pots, pans, and extra linens. I had a very pleasant stay.
