Our room at Georgetown Inn was booked for graduation 2027 on the first day reservations opened, at what seemed like a fair rate. The following day, prices jumped to $1600 per night. Two weeks later, we were told there had been a registration error and our reservation was cancelled. I believe the real issue was that they saw they could price gauge by cancelling our booking and selling the room for more. That feels like a very unethical business practice. Be aware they may cancel your reservation, and have a backup if you stay here. If the hotel sells out, they apparently have no problem cancelling one guest to bring in someone paying a higher rate.

The location worked perfectly for us, close to the major shops and restaurants. Our rooms were really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and very helpful with parking and answering our questions. Such a good experience!

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the staff are really friendly and ready to help. There’s parking, too, with a great valet service. With so many good restaurants and shops nearby, the location is excellent. Definitely the best hotel and location in DC.
