The valet was reasonably priced compared with New York, where I was overcharged. Here it's $50 for 24 hours plus a $9 daily tax, with no price difference for large and small cars, and you can use the car any time. My own suggestion is to bring your toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. The room had a note saying it would be cleaned the next day, which seemed reasonable. Breakfast is free, and they keep replenishing the food. Try to arrive before 9:30 am to miss the crowds. The location is really good: Chinatown is within walking distance, and metro and buses can take you to almost all the attractions. It was much better than my previous stop in New York. If you're traveling with children and want easy access to the museums, this is a great choice. There were so many museums, and the hotel was a perfect ending to our winter trip. We'll definitely come back.

We had the “Do NOT Disturb” sign on our door in the morning, but maintenance staff knocked repeatedly anyway. At checkout, we asked to speak to the manager on duty. We waited about 10 minutes while she finished a call, and when we finally described what happened, she didn't seem to care. There was no apology for the staff's rude behavior and barely any reaction from the manager. The location was great for our trip, with buses giving easy access to all the DC tourist spots, and the rooms were great too. But the service was among the worst I've experienced at a hotel. If privacy during your stay matters to you, I wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed here in February 2026. The front desk was very unfriendly, with no consideration for tourists who don't speak perfect English. One gentleman, an older man with glasses, was especially disrespectful. He didn't even look at us while mumbling into his mask. When we politely asked him to repeat himself, he got annoyed. We now understand the other reviews. It seems people have complained about this particular "gentlemen" before.

I've stayed at many Hilton properties and always had good experiences, which made this one especially disappointing. I rarely complain, but my partner and I were treated in a way that really upset me. At check-in, someone in our party needed the restroom and was abruptly told it wasn't for public use. When we explained he was with us, John answered sharply and dismissively. I initially let it go, thinking he might be having a bad day. Then at checkout this morning, I stepped outside to load bags into an Uber. Since I'd checked out, I no longer had my key card. When I came to the door, John waved me off rudely, so I had to explain I'd already checked out. The hotel's positive points were overshadowed by this very negative experience with the front desk.
