We came to DC for my fiancé’s birthday, our first visit to the city, and the hotel made it everything we’d hoped for and more. The front desk staff were especially thoughtful, suggesting fun, interactive restaurants that made the trip feel special. Our room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and housekeeping did a wonderful job. It was such a treat to wake up to a clean room after a safe, eventful evening. Everyone was kind and accommodating. We’ll book more trips here, especially for the great location.

The location is hard to beat, with great places to eat nearby and a picturesque setting. We loved our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view was terrific. The TV sits in the middle of the room, which is unusual but means you can watch from either the bed or the couch. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including eggs, potatoes, pancakes or waffles, breakfast meat, and other options. The coffee was awful, with sludge at the bottom, so after the first cup we went to Starbucks or used the in-room coffee maker. Thanks!

It was my first stay at a Hyatt, and I had a really good time. Finding my way through the wharf market and garage was a bit confusing, though it was super fun too. The view made a couple of wrong turns worthwhile. Check-in was pleasant, and Charlie gave me helpful directions and great recommendations. Give this newly renovated place a try.

Hyatt at The Wharf made us feel celebrated for my wife’s birthday. Tennessee and Toni arranged an incredible room upgrade, the view was stunning, and the service was so good it almost felt illegal. My wife felt special, I got to look like a hero, and we left with unforgettable memories and dangerously high standards for future trips.

The hotel sits right in the middle of "The Wharf," with lots of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops around, and it’s easy to walk to tourist spots or reach the subway. We had amazing views of the Potomac River. Staff were really friendly and polite, with special thanks to Senessie for the help and support. Breakfast was good and offered a nice range of choices.
