Ms. Tee at the front desk made check-in smooth and welcoming, and her warm, professional service left a great first impression. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a well-kept, thoughtfully equipped junior suite. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the mini fridge and coffee maker were handy. As a Discoverist member, I appreciated the two complimentary bottles of water, since they otherwise cost $5 each. The suite didn't have large windows or especially nice views, so that wasn't a highlight. The real draw is the location: it's within easy walking distance of the White House, the National Mall, and Memorial Parks, making sightseeing convenient. Overall, the hotel delivered on comfort, cleanliness, service, and location.

Tanya at the bar was a joy to be around. She served every cocktail with a smile and a joke, knew her stuff, and was super hospitable and kind. The drinks were strong without being expensive. Even if I weren't staying here, I'd stop by for her company and service. Five-star hire! The front desk team were attentive, responsive, and hospitable. They always greeted my wife and me with a smile and a hello, arranged early check-in, and gave us a spotless room. The location is perfect, around the corner from the White House with a direct center view, three minutes from McPherson Square Metro Station, and a quick bike or scooter ride to Georgetown. It was Christmas, around 27 degrees every day, so air conditioning wasn't relevant. My one complaint: shower pressure was horribly low, and the heat at its highest only got to about 75 degrees. I enjoyed the stay and will return and recommend it to others.

After a long ride into DC, Mrs. Tee greeted us warmly at the front desk and made check-in feel like the best hotel service I've ever received. She was welcoming, hospitable, and helpful throughout. I really appreciated it and can't wait to stay here again.

The location made it easy to walk to the White House, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, great restaurants, and the Warner theater. The hotel was clean overall and the bed was comfortable. Mike McIntyre checked us in and was professional, kind, and told us about everything. He needs a raise! I'd recommend this for a clean, budget-friendly stay.

I've been a Hyatt member for more than five years and haven't had serious problems with any of their properties. The valet and front desk staff here were warm and welcoming, and handled requests politely and efficiently. The continental breakfast was exemplary, with fresh hot choices to suit any taste. The rooms could use a closer inspection, though. The bathroom and shower doors didn't close or latch properly, so the shower door let water puddle on the floor. There also weren't enough towels and washcloths for the number of guests. None of that would keep me from coming back.
