Housekeeping kept the room fresh throughout my stay, and everything felt spacious, spotless, and set up for comfort. I especially liked the kitchenette, the comfortable bed, and the modern details. The staff made me feel welcome from arrival. Check-in was quick, and everyone I spoke with was friendly, professional, and ready to help. I had an excellent stay.

The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The woman running it was a gem. I didn’t catch her name, but she even brought us fresh coffee once it was brewed. There were flaky biscuits with sausage gravy, waffles and pancakes to make yourself, hard-boiled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, scrambled eggs, and more. They also brought in a couple boxes of fresh donuts. Nearby there was an arcade and a machine for coffee, espresso, and hot chocolate. We had a King room on the 8th floor with a good downtown view. The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, there were plenty of pillows, and the amenities were good. No complaints about the room. The indoor pool had seating on several levels around it, and our eleven-year-old loved swimming there. We enjoyed the pool area too. Parking was easy: the ramp across the street connects by skywalk, and the hotel validates it. The riverfront is only a block away and nice to walk around. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Executive Residency in Waterloo and would definitely return. Great experience!
