The beds were comfortable, and the third-floor room was quiet. Check-in was quick, and the staff answered my questions helpfully. I only stayed one night, and the room felt about average for what we paid. The coffee maker being in the bathroom seemed pretty unsanitary to me. There were just two large, thin towels, two washcloths, and two hand towels. Other hotels provide more. I didn’t try the pool or any of the other amenities.

The room cost me $100 at chicken. My aunt had made the reservation through a third party, and I found the lack of professionalism pretty striking. The door failed to close and latch properly, and it popped open on its own twice. The wall register that controls the heat also leaked across the floor, soaking everything.

The woman at the pool was really rude. They charged my daughter, brother, and friend to swim on my account, even though the kids could have been added to the room for free. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your family to this motel with a pool.

The hotel could use some updating, though there wasn’t really anything wrong with it. I couldn’t adjust the room temperature, so the thermostat seemed to be there for decoration. The pool is indoors and heated, but its stairs are steep and slippery. The hot tub was covered with a tarp, so it may not have been working. I booked about a month ago, and today’s quoted room price is $100 less. That’s frustrating.
