Baymont by Wyndham Waupun

Jen, the manager, helped make a big group booking easy, from coordinating our needs to being there at check-in and checkout. We brought college students to Wisconsin for a performance tour and booked nearly the whole hotel, so it could have been stressful. Instead, staff handled it really well. There were plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, and the pool stayed open late enough for everyone to have some fun before bed. Students and staff got a restful night, and breakfast had lots of choices that remained well stocked through the morning. We’d stay again.

The location was the only real plus. The beds were uncomfortable and kept sliding around, and the bedding was thin. There was mildew all over the pool ceiling, some chairs were broken, and the whirlpool timer didn’t work. Staff seemed reluctant to help and stayed in the back until you went to them. It was the cheapest stay around, and you get what you pay for. I won’t return.

I’ve been here many times and keep coming back for a staycation. I always book the King Superior room with the in room Jacuzzi, and the rooms are nice. It’s a great local hotel near Horicon Marsh. Jen at the front desk is helpful and very nice, and the service has always been great. A couple of times my 3rd party reservation got messed up through the 3rd party, but they figured it out. Good breakfast, too, and a nice pool with a hot tub.

Our bookings were a great price, and breakfast was great. The young woman at the front desk was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying here in the area.
