Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne

The bride had a $300 hold that stayed on her card for over two weeks, after the hotel charged three different cards for the same stay. It caused extra stress during an already busy wedding weekend and disrupted our event budget. I was also left waiting for a proper response and resolution. If none comes, I'll upload video of what happened and the mishandling of credit card information, along with invoice images, email chains, and the outstanding card charges. During the stay, I went to the front desk at 1:00 AM to help resolve the bride's issue. I got rudeness and no solution, and the problem made the wedding morning much harder. I needed to be at the venue by 8:00 AM. Lindsay ignored my repeated emails about a duplicate charge and an ongoing hold of almost $300. I was told there were hotel policies requiring extra ID proof, but when I asked to see them, nobody provided them. Later, I was told I could use the original card that had already been authorized. It should never have been switched to the bride's card without consent. My experience at this Residence Inn was extremely disappointing. Brides and anyone planning a wedding, I'd strongly advise against booking here until management reviews the billing practices, sets proper accountability, and addresses how it communicates with guests. The handling of guests' credit cards seems seriously flawed.

For our family trip to New York, this Residence Inn worked perfectly. Manhattan is about 40 minutes away by bus, and the stop is right down the street. It's a quiet location with beautiful rooms and a lovely, well-maintained property. The pool and other facilities were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the basketball court. I can only recommend it.

The staff, room, fresh fruit, and cleanliness were all better than I expected. I had a great stay and would come back.

The hotel is older, but the staff keep it in good shape. I stayed for three weeks for work in a two-room unit, with a separate bedroom and a living room and kitchen area. The location is tucked away and pretty quiet. There's a small workout room and laundry on site, and the pool and hot tub are awesome. Breakfast was good, with gluten free breads and muffins available. One night an alarm on the ac unit went off, but the manager handled it right away. A pleasant stay.
