Valley Forge Motor Court Motel

For a quick, inexpensive stay, this was the only place in my price range that I found in a clean room and safe area. The carpet, bed, bathroom, and wood surfaces were all well cleaned. The room design is dated, but I knew that before booking. It delivered what was advertised, so it suited my last-minute need for a cheap, clean room.

The bed was so hard it hurt, and I tossed and turned all night. I might’ve slept better on the floor. The tub backed up, and the room swung between extremely hot and extremely cold. It was very small for $70 and didn’t have a fridge. The only good thing was that it was clean. Beware of that rock-hard bed.

The room was a decent size with good light, the shower was hot, and the road noise wasn’t bad. The price was fine, and the place was clean. Still, the carpet was a bit nasty, the mattress felt like a stone slab, and the pillows were mushy lumps. It’s in a great location and could be a gem with a little love and some paint.

Daisy was incredibly helpful. I got off work after the office was supposed to close, but she stayed late so I could get a room for the night. I was really grateful. The staff seem friendly, and even though the rooms aren’t as fancy as other hotels, it’s still a good place to stay. The customer service is the best part.
