La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Weatherford OK

We stayed here twice, and both visits went well. The room was clean, the sheets were fresh, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast the next morning was good, and they let us bring our pets. I’d stay again when passing through.

One of the younger women at the desk was welcoming, but the other two made me feel like a burden. The owners, whom I met in the hallway, were very nice, though I don’t think they know how the front desk staff act. If you need extra towels, you may as well go buy them at Walmart. And don’t forget your key: they had me walk back to my room six times because of a bad one. I don’t understand the praise for the staff in earlier reviews.

I couldn’t get help from the front desk because the room phone only gave a constant busy signal. The heater also knocked loudly every time it switched on or off, enough to keep me awake. There was no hot water in the room where I’d specifically requested a bathtub. The tub’s drain plug was broken, so it wouldn’t hold water, and the vanity sink lever was broken too, leaving the basin full right up to the rim.

There were plenty of places to walk our dogs, and our Siberian Husky enjoyed staying with us. The desk employees were polite and very helpful.
