Americas Best Value Inn Weatherford, OK

It’s an older motel and they’re working on repairs, so expect that. The people are humble, the price is low, and I really appreciate them. For what it is, it’s great. No bed bugs or anything like that.

The shower was disgusting, with lime stains and grime that looked like oil rig dirt. There was no breakfast because they said they were remodeling, and they said the ice had gone out the day before. I don’t believe that, since I’d read a review from a year earlier saying there was no ice either. I won’t stay here again. After I posted this, they called my room, said they wanted me to leave, and offered to move me to another room and compensate me. I left the hotel entirely and ate the $70.97 cost because I’d booked through Priceline. 😡🥵😤

Black water came out of the shower. Disgusting. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and the wall stains looked suspiciously like butt gravy. The health department should take a look. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you like a slasher film vibe.

A friendly cat, which I assume belongs to the motel, greeted me when I left early in the morning. The low price and spot near I-40 make this a useful stop for budget trips, especially if you care about fuel economy. The rooms are quite dilapidated, though. The showers were dirty with lime, and there was visible water damage on the ceilings. There were just two outlets, one occupied by a power strip with lots plugged in, including the TV and fridge, and left hanging in the air. That seems like a potential fire hazard. The basics are there, TV, shower, microwave and fridge. A decent quick place to rest.
