Quality Inn Weeki Wachee - Spring Hill

It was nearly midnight and I still had no hot water. After moving all my luggage to another room, I found that one had no hot water either, and its phone didn’t work. I had to call the desk from my cellphone, and the night clerk argued that the water was hot. She said she’d check again when she wasn’t busy. No apology.

The bed felt like a metal foldout, and the whole room gave me a bougie boot camp, almost jail-cell feeling. It’s clean, but there’s basically nothing extra, and it feels overpriced. The TV remote didn’t work. I could’ve gone down to ask the lady to fix it, but it was almost 10 and I was tired, so I’d rather complain than deal with it. Even the water bottles and tiny bags of Cheez-Its cost three dollars. Seriously, ahhhhh.

The bathroom was so cramped you could barely move, and there weren’t any chairs to sit on while putting on your shoes. Breakfast was supposed to run from 6-9am, but there was no breakfast, and everything looked old and outdated. The service wasn’t great either. I’ll pass next time.

The A/C smelled bad and seemed to need a new filter and a cleaning. We found tiny baby roaches in the bathroom and around the room, more than once and in groups. Just a dirty hotel, one of the worst we’ve stayed in.
