The front desk person was nice and helpful, and everything seemed good after the renovation. The cleaning was the problem. In the first room, the floors felt sticky, there were random water splashes, and the mirror, sink, and shower were dirty. Hair was all over the sink, ice bucket, and shower. We asked to switch rooms, but the second looked much the same and smelled bad, like cigarettes. Cleanliness was my only complaint.

I needed an affordable place for my family of four right away, and the clean smell in the lobby and room put me at ease as soon as we arrived. I know reviews can make you hesitate, and I was skeptical at first, but first impressions count. There were some small things that could use staff attention, but the stay was worth five stars to me. Thanks for the clean room and reasonably priced night.

We drove 14 hours from New Jersey and just wanted to sleep after a rough trip, but left around 1:30 a.m., only two hours after checking in. We spotted a roach in the room, thought maybe it was just one, then kept seeing more until we packed up and left. There's also a major problem with bed bugs, from what we saw and experienced. The entrance structure is falling apart too. The brick support looks like it was hit, with rubble scattered across the parking lot, and pieces of wood holding it up behind caution tape. The photos are outdated. The lobby displayed a health department score of 94, which is hard to reconcile with the bugs. It really makes you wonder. Stay away and pay a little more for the Days Inn right next door.

The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the refrigerator actually worked really well, which impressed me. I liked the pull-down shade because it blocked light better than regular curtains, and there was an outlet with USB charging ports. The toilet was a more eco-friendly style. The woman who checked me in was very sweet and helpful. It's a no-frills motel that may be a little dated, but I would stay again after our one-night visit.

We were exhausted and ended up staying, but the first room had roaches and the sheets in the next one were so nasty I was scared to sleep on them. There were stains all over the sheets, the bottom sheet, and mattress cover, like nasty piss. I'd used all my points on this disgusting, filthy room. I picked the hotel because it advertised continental breakfast and was close to where I was. Online it said breakfast at 6:00, but the door said lobby hours began at 6:30. I waited until 6:30, and the door was still locked. When the guy came to the window, traffic on the interstate made it impossible to hear him through the little glass. He opened the lobby door after I told him, and when I asked about breakfast, he said they didn't have one because of construction. I asked why Choice programs hadn't been updated and got no response. When I first arrived, the front desk woman wasn't there and said she'd been in the bathroom. In the first room, some spots were soaking wet with bleach. The smell was so strong that I figured she knew about the roaches and had tried to get rid of them, but they were crawling everywhere anyway. I felt like they knew about the infestation when they saw my reservation and she rushed to put bleach around. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. Maybe consider this one after construction and pest control, but skip it for now. I'm going to post pictures of the sheets.
