National 9 Inn Wellington

The night desk person was friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was impressively clean, the beds comfortable and there were plenty of towels. I especially appreciated the mini fridge’s separate freezer section, which made it easy to freeze our cooler ice packs. For a fraction of what other motels cost, it still had the cleanliness and comfort you’d expect from a pricier hotel. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

Zoey was amazing, very sweet and kind. I only planned on staying one night, but it turned into two because my home had caught fire and I needed a pet room for my dogs. The floor was so dirty I threw away my socks, bought a mop, bucket and cleaner, then mopped five times before the water stopped coming up black. Completely disgusting. And somehow the cook turned four sausage patties into briquettes my dogs wouldn’t touch, even though they think cat litter tastes good. It’s no wonder the parking lot is always empty.

It’s older, but well kept, and for one night to sleep and shower it did the job. The service was friendly, the room clean, there were plenty of towels, and the area was quiet. Great price, too. Don’t expect anything fancy, but it serves its purpose.

My disabled dad was hurting, and finding another place wasn’t an option, so we stayed even though we should have left. We had two rooms, and my adult kids’ room was just as bad as ours. There was a bloody cotton ball on the floor, bugs in the sheets, garbage and bugs under the bed, and ice cream left in the fridge from the previous guests. The room clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. We went to Walmart, bought cleaning supplies and cleaned both rooms the way they should have been cleaned. I’d tell anyone to find somewhere else. We tried calling the front desk to let them know, but no one answered. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in, even after places we’ve been in from Vegas to LA.
