The cheerful, efficient desk clerk gave us a 15% off coupon for a steak house we could walk to. It’s a new, clean, nice hotel, with a kitchenette for extended stays, a laundry room, and a good exercise room. I’ll keep this brand in mind for future stays.

There’s no pool, and this place didn’t feel welcoming to kids. We were there for a kids hockey tournament and the hotel was approved for it, but staff threatened several times to kick us out. If you’re traveling with kids, don’t stay here.

The room had lady bugs, though it was otherwise fairly clean. Check-in with the late-night receptionist was poor, and we got a different room than the one we’d requested. It cost us more, and nobody warned us the other rooms were unavailable. In the morning, our card apparently hadn’t gone through, despite the $1 fee being charged the night before. The system seems poor, and the morning front desk woman was very rude. Save yourself money, time, and patience by going to the Holiday Inn across the street.

There’s plenty of shopping nearby, and lots of restaurants right by the freeway, so getting on and off is easy. The location seems very new, with modern, clean rooms and clean hallways. The front desk staff were friendly, and though it’s next to the freeway, it seems pretty good. My room has two queen beds, a small kitchenette, a wall separating part of the room, and a nice-sized bathroom. There’s also a big closet with organizers, a large desk with two chairs, and a seating area. I’m very pleased with this choice.
