Deluxe Inn and Suites Weslaco

I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn't stay the whole week I'd planned, though my belongings are safe. I had asked to clean my own room because I don't trust people around my things. They said that was fine and they'd only knock for towels. Then I caught the owner and the maintenance lady named savanna in my room, hurrying to get out. I asked if they needed anything, and they said no, sorry, they were looking for the broom to clean the parking lot because she likes that broom. It was right by the door, but she didn't take it. She took a while to leave after the owner saw us pulling in. Don't leave valuables there, they might go missing.

For the price, it's a decent place to stay, and someone was at reception late at night. It's near the highway but far enough away that traffic noise isn't too bad. The AC was a little noisy, the hardwood floor felt a bit dirty, and the towels were scratchy.

The rooms were clean, and I could get fresh sheets once a day. The front desk folks were nice to talk to, and the first time I visited I was delighted to meet the friendly owners and have coffee with them. I'd stay here again, no complaints.

Cars going by on the main road make some noise, which isn't something the hotel can control, but the place itself is nice and quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the price is reasonable. I like it here.
